It is a little difficult to connect Raspberry Pi with dot matrix, since its O ports are not so much. If one port controls a LED, about 35 LEDS are controlled at most
It is possible to only use SPI interfaces (3 O ports +2 Enabled Ports )to control64 LEDS thanks to LED constant current driving chip. So dot matrix driver becomes possibility.
